SAVE BILL

16mm film

Save Bill, 2014 is a found footage project using a 35mm film trailer of Kill Bill Volume 1, 2003. This process included transferring each 35mm frame to 16mm with scissors, tape, paint, and other found materials.

The concept behind Save Bill ironically comments on recycling and repurposing once discarded film materials. We transferred this idea to the narrative of the film itself — by reviving the old film trailer and therefore the characters in it, we are thus saving Bill.
