MIA DUNN

Mia Dunn is a half Japanese & half American painter and rug maker based in NYC, working primarily with oil paint and upcycled yarns. She has a very colorful art style inspired by traditional Japanese art, and incorporates imagery found in origami patterns into her work. With her upbringing in both Japan and the U.S., many of her works explore how the environment changes an individual’s identity and the dynamic nature of identity.
