ARTIST STATEMENT:
“Miami Motels” is a work created from passing a strip of 20+ unique motels on Biscayne BLVD, every week, and always being taken aback by how vivid or bleak they were depending on the time of day. I was happy to capture these essences in the photos displayed with Slow Burn as I slowly call this varied city my new home.
Tennessee: Photographer & musician born in Harlem, recently moved to Miami. I strive to present abstract emotion in my work, rarely pursuing perfection, but instead, reality.
