AMELIA PAIGE

ARTIST STATEMENT:

Trash V. I and II is a visual exploration of addiction and the way it permeates both in the city and in myself. Signs of addiction and excess are all around us here, and I often find myself thinking about the way living here has molded my history of substance abuse. Addiction is ugly, and it’s not a solitary experience. The experience of living with addiction feels different every day.
