ARTIST STATEMENT:
An exploration of cyclical and obsessive worry - the birth of an ugly thought. The photos were taken on a Hasselblad 500CM. The negatives were developed and then damaged using steel wool, sandpaper, bleach, food coloring, cigarettes and boots.
Alex New is a video editor based in Brooklyn.
